Warranty Terms and Conditions:

Product Warranty:

The warranty period for compatible printheads is 6 months from the date of purchase, or one million inches (25.4Km), whichever comes first.

Compatible printheads: the warranty covers any manufacturing defect or workmanship, and all printheads returned under warranty are sent to the USA for evaluation. Printheads that have been damaged by the user, or that have exceeded 25.4Km usage, will not be replaced.

CAUTION: Printheads can be damaged by overpowering or overheating if the printhead circuitry is not functioning properly. This type of damage is not covered by warranty and it is recommended that the printhead be installed by a qualified technician only.

Printhead Cleaning:

Regular cleaning will extend the life of the head. Ideally the printhead should be cleaned every day, or at least once a week. Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) can be used to remove paper or ink residue from the head. Apply with a cotton swab or a lint free cloth. Do not use abrasive materials, and cleaning is best done when the head is cool, i.e. before use as applying a cold swab to a hot printhead element can cause thermal shock damage.

Printhead Return Policy and Procedure :

  1. If you believe your printhead is faulty, contact us by email with your printhead serial number (included in the invoice sent with the head, and also printed on the head itself).
  2. We will issue a Return Material Authorisation number (RMA).
  3. Return the product to the address supplied and mark the package with the RMA #, and include a description and/or print sample of the problem.
  4. We will return the head to the factory for evaluation and confirm the finding ASAP (typically 5 working days).
